The Chesterfield United FC is proud to host the 2009 Icebreaker Tournament on March 7th & 8th. Held annually in Richmond, Virginia, the Icebreaker is regarded as one of the top tournaments in Virginia. With its outstanding competition and exciting tournament format, the 16th annual event should be no exception.
This year's event will attract upwards of 350 travel teams from the East Coast and beyond. The Icebreaker should not only be an outstanding preseason tournament for travel teams but also a great recruiting tool for area college programs. We expect up to 60 college coaches from Division I, II, III, and the NAIA to attend.
